1- Why did you choose to start this business?
Being a published author, one of the main things that can quickly become very costly to get my books sold was website design and social media marketing. Eventually, after suffering through a lot with many website designers either due to low quality or slow responses, I decided to learn to do it myself. After a few tries, I got the hang of it and found out that I could actually help a lot of people through it.
2- What was the most difficult thing you had to do while starting up your business?
I think everyone faces that problem at first, which is to get clients. However, after I managed to get the first few clients, they liked my work and started recommending me to their friends. Eventually, one thing led to another and Brandplus Solutions was born and started growing month by month.
3- What is the most rewarding part of owning/managing this business?
I think that the Google reviews for my business speak for themselves. The fact that I am able to succeed through the success of other people and their businesses is a tremendous reward.
4- If you were to start over, what would you change?
I would start much sooner.
5- What inspires you to keep moving?
I believe that my success is based on other people’s success, and this is what keeps me going.
6- How do you deal with competition in your business?
I always aim to provide higher quality and much faster response time.
7- What is your advice for someone who is just starting or thinking of starting a new small business?
Advertise, advertise, advertise. Yes it may be what you most spend on in the first few months, but it is worth it in the long run. Also, start collecting google reviews from your very first client.
