All of us have big goals and most of us know where our true passion lies. How come that only a few of us are truly living their dream lives?
The answer, my friend, is simple. Most of us are not taking consistent action to attain our goals. While there are other reasons for failure, lack of action normally tops the list. Here are five reasons for to act today:

1.Take the first step. The next step will be revealed to you
There’s a reason why we like to brainstorm when searching for fresh ideas. Following the Universal Law of Attraction, i.e. like attracts like, a great idea leads to more related ideas. Likewise, taking a certain action will guide you to the next necessary step in achieving your desired purpose. It’s a bit like rock climbing in that sense. Don’t believe me? Try it yourself and see.
2.Enjoy the feel-good factor
There’s a great feeling of achievement and of self worth when you’ve taken action. Think of a day when you’d been super-productive and had accomplished everything you’d had on your list. Wasn’t it an amazing feeling?
Even as you take action you’ll feel that powerful energy of the go-getter finally taking control of their destiny. You deserve to feel this way so by all means do it!
3.All the Internet family is behind you
And what a large family that is…
Think about it – if, for example, Facebook marketing is your thing, simply Google it and you’ll find a wealth of information about it. Still confused? Once you get started with your business, outsource most of your workload to one of the thousands of freelancers out there.
4.Learning from mistakes sets you up for success.
If you don’t act you won’t make any mistakes. That’s a fact. But then you’ll never succeed either… So, what should you do?
Just start the process.
If, for example, there’s a site you want to launch, go ahead and do it. And what if it isn’t perfect? Well, in that case you’ll get feedback from users, which will help you improve the next version.
Internet entrepreneur Matt Bacak had gone bankrupt, only to become one of the most successful marketers out there. There is no reason to fear from failure and you can’t let that stop you from achieving success.
5.Short-term success will keep you on track
Most of us are results-driven by habit. Our thoughts are subject to the world of physical appearances and the results of previous thoughts.
So how do you free your mind from this vicious cycle?
By changing your thinking and focusing on your goals and vision.
Big goals broken down into small action steps will lead to immediate results which will, in turn, motivate you and reinforce your vision and confidence.
As the Chinese proverb goes, “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
